What is the impact of food toxins on our bodies ?
We humans have allowed all sorts of toxins to enter our food supply... so now we have toxins in our bodies. What we breathe, what we eat, what we drink allow toxins to enter and disrupt our lives. Toxins can become very harmful if consumed in large quantities. These toxins may also be passed along the food chain. Scientists are only beginning to understand the impact that these poisons have on our quality of life.
Impacts currently being researched:
Endocrine Disruptors
*Early onset of puberty *Reduce production of hormones in endocrine glands *Reproduction problems (diseases fertility) |
Autoimmune
*Allergies *Obesity *Diabetes |
Neurochemical imbalances
*Autism *ADHD *Reduces availability of neurotransmitters *Negative Mood *Brain Damage |
Gestational issues
*Foodborne illness |
Antibiotic Resistance
*Cows are given antibiotics that humans later ingest. These antibiotics cause resistance to other antibiotics that humans consume. |
Emotional and fatigue disorders may also have ties to food toxins. Significant research in these areas has also begun. The impact list grows annually.
